Since 2016, ACOBIR maintains a strategic alliance with the National Association of Realtors (NAR), which allows members of our association to opt for Certified International Property Specialists (CIPS), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Seller Representative Specialist ( SRS) considered the best international real estate designations in the world, endorsed by the largest professional association in the United States, with one million members, which includes institutes, societies and boards involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial sectors.
Likewise, we have signed a memorandum of understanding with the global professional association of real estate appraisers Apraissal Institute, through which our members have access to education and professional development programs, in terms of appraisals and international standards, in addition to joining a community of the first order made up of more than 20,000 professionals in the sector in almost 60 countries around the world.
Currently ACOBIR is a main member of the International Federation of Real Estate Professionals (FIABCI) chapter of Panama, for which the members can affiliate and be part of this real estate business network, which brings together more than two million professionals in the sector, present in more than 67 countries on five continents and is part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
In addition to the above, our union is the founder of the Latin American Real Estate Confederation (CILA), made up of 18 countries and 440,000 Real Estate Brokers, which offers a valuable opportunity for the Panamanian real estate sector, which allows integration and approach to new alliances and visions of expansion for the market.
Undoubtedly, the important relationships sustained through our union provide a reciprocal platform for the integration and professionalization of the sector, the realization of real estate businesses and position Panama as the most important Real Estate Hub in the Americas.
